It may be expired… but it’s medical approved!
Food items around here arrive in waves; then they sit on the shelf and start to accumulate discount stickers. They also don’t order more until all sold out. I was baffled when someone said “I’m waiting until it expires and goes on sale.”

what!?!
The guy actually did his shopping based on the expiration. He just happens to do it from the wrong side of the label. The idea is to consume it before the company that created it becomes no longer liable for the quality or safety of the product.
